Annual Meeting

Once again, the time for the Annual Membership Meeting of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick is rapidly approaching. The venue for this year’s meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2013 is the Hays Theatre at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre, New York, the same as last years. The meeting will be from 6PM to around 8PM. A modest $20 will be charged for each attendee. However, if a member brings a prospective new member who fills out or brings a completed membership application, both the member and his guest will not be charged. Applications for membership will be available that night.
This meeting is one of the premier events sponsored by the Society. There will be new officers elected at this meeting who would appreciate your support. We urge all new members and their sponsors to attend. In addition, all members are encouraged to bring one potential member as their guest. The meeting is not only a time to meet all of the new members of the Society but it also provides an opportunity for the core membership to enjoy an evening of fellowship and good cheer. Entertainment will be provided as well.
As we anticipate a high attendance for this event, I would request that you e-mail me of your intentions to come that night, and whether you will be bringing a guest/prospective member (lmurphy@mahonlaw.com). It is vital to the planners to know how many will attend. Showing up unannounced presents significant problems for the committee. The Board of Governors and I look forward to seeing you on September 18th.
