Golf Outing

Dear Fellow Friendly Sons:
You are cordially invited to join us at our 25th Annual Golf Outing being held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Cherry Valley Club in Garden City. Let us embrace this opportunity to celebrate 25 years of wonderful golf and fraternity, and to help us generate funds to support our wide array of Irish related charities. Without the ability to raise funds for worthy charities we become a club of men who share only a common interest in the Irish. I believe we are much more than that. Help me and the rest of the golf committee make the 25th golf outing a major success this year.

Those of you who have attended in the past know that Cherry Valley is one of the finest golf courses that Long Island has to offer. Further this event is always memorable for members of the Irish American community on Long Island.

We limit the number of foursomes at the outing so that we can enjoy a favorable pace of play. Thus it is vital that you contact us right away. Keep in mind that there is no limit on the number of dinners that we can accommodate, just in case you don’t play golf or you are told that we have reached out limit on foursomes. Please fill out the enclosed reservation form in the brochure and return it to my attention at the address shown.

We are still trying to maintain a tennis presence at this outing. If enough members show interest, there will be tennis play starting at 2:30 PM. It would also include prizes, cocktails and dinner after the completion of the tennis and golf. The cost for the tennis would be $220.00 per player. If you are interested, please forward to me a check to the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in the sum of $220.00 at the same address given on the brochure. I believe that we would need 8 players to make have a viable event. Guests are welcome.
